Why our filters are manufactured with greater precision yet still cost less.

For many years, some of our filters have been manufactured in collaboration with social service organizations, such as Caritas. This is not a side project, but an integral part of our production. The processes are clearly defined, the quality is tested, and the results are directly incorporated into our daily delivery processes.

Many steps in filter production require one thing above all else: care, repeatability, and concentration. This is precisely where social institutions have a particular strength. The people working there operate in a structured, precise, and highly detail-oriented manner, which has a direct impact on the quality of our products.

At the same time, this form of collaboration enables a different cost model than that found in traditional industrial companies. Employees at social institutions receive comprehensive support, guidance, and housing options. This results in lower production costs for us—an advantage we can pass on to our customers. For our customers, this means higher quality at fair prices.

We speak openly about this because it is part of how we operate. Not as a marketing message, but as an explanation of why our filters function reliably and remain cost-effective.

Often better than the expensive ones. Often cheaper than the cheap ones.

With ACS, you save money despite top-notch quality and on two fronts. First, our filters aren’t sourced from the Far East but are manufactured in Germany – often by hand, in collaboration with social organizations. This makes us not only socially responsible and sustainable but also independent of long shipping routes. We cut costs on transportation and middlemen, not on materials or quality – quite the opposite. The result: filters that last longer, are cleanly manufactured, and still cost less than those from many other suppliers.

Plus, with us, you won’t fall into the trap of paying too much in the long run without even realizing it. If you’d like, we’ll start by listening to your needs, inspecting your system, and then recommending the exact filter that makes sense for your situation. Often, a different design, more surface area, or a different material is all it takes – and suddenly your system runs more quietly, lasts longer, and requires less frequent maintenance. That saves you money, time, and stress.

Our prices are customized. The pricing structure is transparent.

There is no fixed, off-the-shelf price for filters. The requirements vary too widely: installation location, filter class, service life, quantity, replacement intervals, and on-site conditions. That is precisely why we cannot publish blanket prices.

Instead, we’re sharing our reasoning. We explain how prices are determined at ACS, what factors influence them, and why two customers might pay different prices for filters that appear similar. Not to encourage comparison – but to help you understand what goes into a quote.

Our experience shows that when people understand how a price is determined, they make more informed decisions. That’s why we make it clear where your money goes, where costs arise, and why certain decisions can be more cost-effective in the long run than what might seem like the cheapest option at first glance.

This page is not intended to replace a price list. Its purpose is to provide context, explain the details, and build trust – so you know what to expect from us even before the first quote is on the table.
